Greetings—
I found myself just driving around town on toward sunset (camera in tow, of course) and noticed that the Lake Michigan/Kenosha “icebergs” had grown to photo-worthy size. I opened the window and leaned against the sill to capture this three-image, bracketed HDR; leaning, I do believe, still qualifies as “hand-held,” don’t you think? That’s my story, at least, and I’m sticking to it!
Warm weather over the last two weeks has meant that instead of growing in size, our “icebergs” are shrinking instead … sad, as I was hoping to get some more shots of them this year.
On a much more important subject matter I want to tell you about a project that I am very proud to have been asked to participate in, Images Without Borders:
Images without Borders provides limited edition photographic prints from fine art photographers; all proceeds go directly to Doctors without Borders in support their relief efforts in Haiti and around the world. There is no overhead other than the price of printing. Your purchase of any of these stunning images provides immediate funding. Our donors receive no remuneration and all images are freely donated in aid of those who suffer today and need our help. Help artists help the world.
The image above is one of my submissions and there are hundreds more stunning photos to choose from. Please follow the link above, have a look around and consider making a purchase towards this very worthy cause … thank you.
