Every once in a while during the summer months Chicago closes down LSD for bikers to take a leisurely Sunday cruise. Here, I put myself right on the median to grab this shot.

Greetings~

I spent the night in Chicago after my trip to the Lincoln Park Zoo a while back. The next day I was scheduled to cover the Gaelic Park IrishFest but when I got up that morning I heard that Lake Shore Drive was shut down to vehicular traffic so bicyclists could traverse “LSD” or, “The Drive” as we call it, so I walked on down to check it out … here’s what I came away with! Well, I have a few more nice ones (to my mind at least), but this one might be my favorite of the bunch. That’ll probably change tomorrow but for now it’s my story and I’m sticking too it.
