Greetings~

This is one from the archives; this past summer, in fact. I hang on to a few shots like this all the time to use in just these circumstances: When I’m sick to death of winter; when I’m stuck in the house and not out shooting because other family members have my car; when I want to see colors other then shades of grey again.

Maybe you need a shot like this today, as well?

A Lily from our front garden. This is one of the ones that were here when we bought our home. We liked them so much that, the next year we planted four more varieties of different colors under our front window. Now, if we could only get them to bloom all at the same time. It’s a shame, too, that they last such a short time. These orange ones; four days at the most. The yellow ones we have are even shorter lived, topping out at a day, maybe two if we’re lucky. Oh, well … they’re pretty while they last.
