Greetings~
An oldie but a goodie for you today; Jellico, Tennessee from March of 2007 as I was headed down to Ashville, NC for The Sandcarvers first visit there. The band will be return this weekend for a show at Jack of the Wood.
Kind of a fond memory thing for me, I guess, as I bid my lovely bride adieu until Sunday … play well, love!

I was out and about along Lake Michigan a while back. It was just a tad late in the morning to capture the waves and water with that silky, mercury effect so I thought, “Why not some Macro?”
The stone seen here would fit quite comfortably in the palm of your hand, with room to spare. I dialed in a fast shutter speed to freeze the motion, got down on my belly and started snapping. This represents the keeper of approximately thirty shots.
