Yeah, I figure it’s about time I post a blog entry, eh? Been what, four days now? I’m such a slacker!
This is my first attempt at actually using and even enhancing the noise inherent in high ISO shots. I saw this and I immediately thought of a very dark and grungy looking shot. I created an HDR image from the original single shot and then another one and combined the two new images via layers. Over the years Ive been very conscious of trying to achieve the lowest possible noise levels in my shots, from capture to post. This was one of those “mistakes” that I messed up from the get-go … this time I thought I’d just go with it.
