A concert shot today … just as the crowd was filing in. I had to go with this one today, as I just woke up from a very strange dream that involved a concert shoot; strange vene (ie: the layout of the place), Dream Theater (apropos eh?), camera bag confiscation, finding it (the bag) later in an empty seat of an empty row, being told while setting up that Dream Theater photos would not be allowed … very weird.

So I was thinking a portrait for you today. This was taken at a recent Julie B. Well show I attended at the Miramar Theater in Milwaukee. I met up with this lovely lass in the lobby and we started talking photography. Being a beginner to the world of photography she didn’t believe I could take a shot of her in the available light with no flash …. hee!

Today is the official release of The Sandcarvers new album, “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.” They’ll be celebrating the event with a CD release party tonight at Shank Hall in Milwaukee, WI. Festivities begin at 8:00PM sharp when Rising Gael hit the stage to get the craic under way. What better way to get yourself in the St. Pat’s spirit then with an evening of kick-ass Celtic Rock?
