Greetings~
As we head into our third day of steady, drenching rain and dreary conditions, I thought today would be a good time to share some good links I’ve discovered around the web lately.
Wouter Brandsma, my buddy from the Netherlands, has been busy lately. Besides his own wonderful blog, he’s now a contributor for “Serious Compacts” which is:
…a photography site focused on the “serious” use of compact cameras.
These days it seems that many people associate serious photography with the use of large, heavy gear. Our site features testing and discussion of the remarkable compact tools available to photographers. We also highlight some of the outstanding work being done with this gear.
Here’s an interesting idea:
Creative Photography [...] aims to be a complete online book on photography. There are many web sites on photography which consist of collections of articles and tutorials on different aspects – but we felt that something a little more structured would be useful, and therefore set about writing a complete online book.
Tutorial9 is one of the better one-stop-shops I’ve run into in a while:
We are Tutorial9 – a collection of teachers, experts, and caring folk from around the world, all gathered in one place to pass along our knowledge to absolutely anyone interested in learning.
And for some down-and-dirty Photoshop tips, stop over to Julieanne Kost – Digital Imaging Evangelist.
Harold Davis of Photoblog 2.0 fame has a new home for his stunning night photography called, “Digital Night.”
“Wildshots” by Paul Burwell is quickly becoming a must read.
As I’m getting into Lightroom more and more, “The Lightroom Lab” has become indispensable.
Finally, a quick word from Dave Seeram:
Hello to our fellow readers and PhotographyBB’ers! This is just a quick notice to let you all know that our April edition is just finishing up production, and will be released this coming Wednesday (April 29th).
Our team would like to thank our loyal readers for their patience as we finalize our most exciting issue to date! In the meantime, grab your cameras and don’t forget to take some photos which show “Signs of Spring” for our current photography assignment challenge going on in the forums. Have a fantastic weekend and Happy Photographing!
This is important, as I’m contributing an article on Urban Landscape this month … shameless self promotion!
One last thought: GO BLACKHAWKS!
